Goo Goo Dolls at Frost Bank Center

Goo Goo Dolls bring decades of melodic rock to Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, on May 29, 2027, as part of the Concerts calendar, in the Pop / rock category. The event lineup also features Def Leppard and The Struts, combining enduring radio favorites with high-energy arena rock. On sanantonio-tickets.com, fans can explore event details and ticket availability for this one-night San Antonio concert.

Formed in Buffalo in 1986, Goo Goo Dolls developed from punk and alternative roots into a widely recognized pop-rock band led by vocalist and guitarist John Rzeznik and bassist and vocalist Robby Takac. Their 1998 album Dizzy Up the Girl delivered signature songs including “Iris,” “Slide,” and “Black Balloon.” “Iris,” also featured in the film City of Angels, became a defining hit and a major communal singalong at live shows.

The band's catalog spans more than a dozen studio albums, from A Boy Named Goo and Gutterflower to 2022's Chaos in Bloom. The San Antonio appearance places their emotionally direct songwriting alongside Def Leppard's arena legacy and The Struts' theatrical rock energy. Goo Goo Dolls performances are known for a guitar-led setup and crowd-ready favorites, with “Iris” often a highlight. Specific set times, opening-act order, and a tour name for this date have not been confirmed.

Prices currently start around $120 for this major arena event, with some seats potentially costing more than $500 depending on location and availability. Prices can change as the event approaches.

Venue and Seating Information

Frost Bank Center is a large arena venue in San Antonio, suited to a multi-act rock bill. Seating options typically include floor areas and elevated sections around the arena, though the exact layout can vary by event configuration. Floor seats can place fans closer to the stage, while elevated seats may offer a broader view of the full production and all three acts.

When choosing tickets, consider whether proximity or an overall view matters most: lower-level seats closer to the stage emphasize the live performance, while higher sections can provide a useful perspective on the arena-wide show. Check the event's seating map before purchasing, as availability and sightlines vary by section.

Parking Information

Parking choices and prices may vary on concert nights, so confirm current details with the venue before travelling. Allow extra time for arrival and follow event-day signs and staff directions.

• On-site parking may be available in venue lots; availability, entry points, and pricing depend on the event.
• Nearby private lots or garages may offer alternatives, but check operating hours and rates before leaving your vehicle.
• Rideshare or drop-off services can reduce the need to find a space close to the arena during peak arrival times.
